  • Thermal annealing

Please note, that with very few exceptions soft magnetic alloys, and in particular finished parts, need to be treated with a thermal annealing to obtain the desired magnetic properties.

Properties of material

SiFe-alloys are the classical 50/60 Hz transformer material. Their main advantage is a high saturation flux density in combination with a fairly high electrical resistivity (due to the adding of Si). Especially the gigh-grade alloy TRAFOPERM® is suitable for lamination core packages in standard and special applications.
